NASA's Orion spacecraft returning to Earth from Moon

from Florida on November 16 2022, NASA's Orion spacecraft succesfully launched with Space Launch System SLS. 

Journey time of Orion spacecaft start to finish is 25 and half days from November 16 to December 11.

This spacecraft broke distance record of any habitual capsule that travelled more than 450,000 kilometers from our planet.

Total distance travelled by Orion spacecraft after returns to Earth  mission will be 1.4 million miles.

For getting home European Service Module, which powers the capsule, started the engine for three minutes.

During re-entry of capsule, it will experienced temerature of about 2,800degrees Celsius. Nearly half of the temperature of Sun.

Orion capsule splashes down in the Pacific Ocean off San Diego on Sunday, December 11 at 9:40 am local time (1740 GMT).

Artemis 2 will go with crew journey to the Moon, once again without landing on the Moon. And that will be in 2023.

Artemis 3 will launch with first woman and next man are to land on the lunar south pole in  2025, which will be challenge for NASA.

Main moto of this mission is to live long lasting on the Moon and also to prepare for the future Mars mission.
